On the sticker/tape resist tiles I used a few different techniques and ideas. Two of the tiles I used stickers and then painted glaze over them to leave shapes when peeling the stickers off. On all 3 of the tiles though I put a matching piece of tape so when removed they all had the same line. For the wax resist part of the project I sprinkled wax on all three tiles to leave small unique shapes. For this next tile the paper resists one I covered the tile yellow, then cut out a piece of paper, laid it on top, and then painted red on top to leave an outline of the shape. Water Etching I used wax to make a chevron pattern then rubbed away some of the clay using water to make it stand out. The next tile was the mishima I carved out curvy lines then filled them with slip to create this tile. Sgraffito, for this I covered the tile blue then carved very unique and interlaying lines to make a very cool pattern. Honestly I'm not sure why I chose these; they kinda just stood out to me more than others. I would say my tiles are successful because they came out exactly how I wanted them to. I would like to use tape resists or sgraffito again.
